  13. Sirjee do you see nifty recovering again to 5900 in second half? And where do you see expiry, near 5800 or near 5900?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. May see some recovery later during the day. Expiry is tough to predict when Nifty is directionless. Likely to break out of the range on or just after expiry. As such, we may see expiry near 5850 or 5950.

      Delete
    2. The reason for askin about expiry is, i am holding 6200ce at a loss rightnow, but the way last expiry the call options suddenly gave a jump, if at all we see a jump this time i can recover some amount...Last expiry was so amzing in gains,i remember the call going from 0.7 to 35...in a day.

    3. Hi Aabha, Holding options in deep loss and expecting amazing gains near expiry would not be wise. If I remember correctly, Nifty gave exceptional moves during expiry in Feb 2011 and then in Nov 2012. As such, chances of such moves are very rare.

    2. its ok.....can we expect a bounce back of nifty soon? what do u say about jan futures? long or short

      Delete
    3. Nifty is currently range bound. Would advise to enter a directional trade in Nifty once it breaks out of the range. Wait for closing above 5948 or closing below 5847 to enter long or short respectively.

  16. hi Sunil sir 7 aabha... one question: how is zerodha... how much it charges for intraday equities and options trading?..do you recomend zerodha?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi anup, zerodha is best suited for a regular online trader. Brokerage charges are Rs.20/- per trade immaterial of quantity.

      Delete
    2. sir, what about intraday equity trading?

      Delete
    3. Anup...its the best...i am really happy with them. 20 rs flat per tradeapplies to intraday/delievry in equities/options/future...all at 20 plus taxes. savings on brokerage as compared to most other brokers are good...

      Delete
    4. Brokerage is Rs.20/- per trade or 0.01% whichever is lesser. Check out their brokerage calculator on their website zerodha.com

  17. thanks a lot, guys will be opening zerodha account shortly, i can give any of ur reference so that u will earn points...

    3. Closed just at the support level. Technically support has not been breached as yet. Will have to wait for Monday closing. If it fails to bounce back on Monday, we are likely to see lower levels of 5797, 5744.
