    1. Thanks for your kind comments Sushmita. I generally avoid trading options intraday unless the momentum is too strong. I would sure post intraday option trades in such cases. However, I would be posting positional option trades.

Like I am not able to understand , I should go with 5600 CE or 5700 CE , or 5700 PE or 5800 PE for NOV series? Is there pattern to understand this to get max profit.

    1. Hi Sam, Thanks.
If you are new to options, Would advise you to read http://www.nse-india.com/content/ncfm/sm_otsm.pdf
However, in layman's terms CE is bought when you expect the scrip to rise, and enter a PE when you expect it to go down.

    1. Enter Trade at the mentioned levels of AutoChannels and follow the trailing SL. It is recommended to trade on futures based on AutoChannels on 5-min charts.

  14. 01/11/2012 09:00 Bought Nifty near 5601-5608, Target: 5641, SL trailed: 5590
    01/11/2012 11:55 SL Trailied: 5605

    Sunil Sir,

Not able to understand your advice , what is the meaning SL Trailed 5590 (at 9 AM ) and the SL Trailied : 5605 . Sorry to ask you this basic question

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Sam, The basic motive behind trailing the SL is to minimise the losses and maximise the gains. Whenever we enter a trade, we start trailing the SL when the trade moves in our favourable direction. We can generate maximum profits if we keep holding the trade till the direction is favourable. We exit the trade whenever the SL is breached and reverse the trade. However, for better risk management, we book part profits at the first swing target.

  17. Dear Sunil,
I think u hv launched Nifty when it is facing one of the most difficult time with no clear trends, so I think it will give u a good chance to fine tune it accordingly. Does your autochannels consider volume also ?
    Thanks & Best Regards

  19. Hi SR - I am planning to go with stock SIP. Rs 5000 per month. Pls suggest a good stock. L&T finance is in my mind. Pls suggest how good is this idea and any other better stock.

    Replies
    1. Hi Nh, L&T Finance is a good scrip for long term. If planning to go for SIP, its always advisable to go for SIP on Index instead of a single stock. You may invest in Niftybees as SIP.

  20. Hi SR - Can we buy/sell stocks positional for 10% gain only based on 5 and 20 ema cross overs?

    1. Hi NH, EMA crossover confirms the trend. You need to combine it with other technical indicators for confirmation of targets.

  21. Hi SR - Thank you. But, I could notice by going through some charts that, most of the (more than 70%) stocks given at least 10% returns after cross over. Yes, I do agree we need to look at support and resi.levels. Pls correct me if I am wrong and throw some light.

    1. Hi NH, Most Welcome. EMA crossovers work well in trending markets, but creates havoc during range bound markets. You may paper trade for some time to see the actual results.

  23. Hi SR .I have a small query, how to know when a stock on its support/resistance it will reverse or move ahead in the same direction ?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Ajaz, Technically, there is no way to know whether any particular resistance/support will hold good or break. Bulls believe that every resistance will break and bears think the same about every support. The best is to wait for break or bounce.

I'm a finance student & i need to gain insights regarding Nifty trend i.e. from 1995 to 2013....can you help me by providing analysis of Nifty movement plus probable forecast for future based on it..

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi Poonam, I would be glad to help you on it. Nifty overall long term trend has always been bullish. Some of the very notable levels on Nifty have been 2600, 4530 and 6140. Since Dec 2007 till date, Nifty has formed an accumulation pattern with resistance at 6140. Break of resistance of 6140 on monthly charts may start a fresh bull run leading Nifty to levels of 7750 and 9700 in coming years. If you need more help on the same, kindly shoot a mail to support@autochannels.in
