  15. Hello Sir, is there any resistance at 6110 level? 6130-33 can test today?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Krishna, Not a major resistance, We have Bolinger bands high near 6110 on daily charts. Momentum of market is good and may test 6130-33 today itself or else tomorrow morning.

      Delete
    2. Bollinger bands of bullish move up to test 6130-33?

      Delete
    3. Hi Krishna, Nifty has broken above 6099-6102 band and sustaining quite some time above it. Most likely it would head to next levels of 6133, 6164 as per AutoChannels. Bolinger Bands will expand appropriately.

      Delete
    4. Lets hope for the best at least to test next level

  16. Sunil, GA... hope you're doing great. I am thinking of writing option... 6200 CE looks tempting, its expected to expire worthless, currently around 7.5, what do you say. I know its risky but lets say I invest my 10% capital, what should be the spot levels i should look to exit.

    Replies
    1. You are a bit late. But better late than never. I had shorted 6000PE and 6200CE at 10:50am at a combined value of 24. As its hardly 2 days to expiry, exit needs to be above 6192.

      Delete
  17. Hi SR, Before 2 days I have shorted TATA STEEL FEB future @ 408. What should be my stop loss?

    ReplyDelete
  18. should i enter call in cmp or shall wait for dip to 6095? many thanks.

  19. Good Afternoon Sir, What is your view on BankofBaroda?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Good Afternoon, Has bounced from major support levels. If it manages to break above 880, can head ahead to 920. Enter it only after it breaks above 880.

  20. entered and sold call 2 times since yesterday.now i have no positions.
will enter in dips like you suggest. many thanks

  21. Sunil Sir,
    Holding ICICI JAN 1200 PE @ 10
Kindly share your views on the same

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Shashi, Exit from it at the earliest. ICICI looks strong above 1197. Can see 1267+ in short term.

      Delete
  22. Agreed, late.. but i did not take risk due to RBI policy... Cant believe Mr. Rao, a 50 BPS Rate cut could have propelled nifty over 6200 IMHO

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I took the risk actually seeing the high IV before RBI announcement. Shorted @ 24. booked 50% at 12 after 15-20 mins and holding rest till expiry. As OI of 6200CE and 6000PE were increasing since morning, it was unlikely any announcement to trigger a move below 6000 or above 6200. :)

  23. I need to work on my IV and OI analysis... can't find a way to track them real time...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You should be able to track OI and VIX on your trading terminal.

      Delete
  24. I am in office and i am not allowed to install any third party software... that's why the tracking is bad and I miss opportunities often.

  25. Sir Can i opt for sbin 2600ce feb series?

  31. hi SR,

how are the trailing stop loss levels calculated ?
    thanks

    1. Hi Tarun, There are different ways of trailing SL to lock in profits. AutoChannels calculates all levels based on volatility factors.

    1. Hi sbrj, Today Nifty failed to sustain a breakout. But is still holding onto support levels. We may likely see a bounce from here. Exit tomorrow on rise.
