    ReplyDelete
  46. To all the readers: I was a bit apprehensive of putting up the new Intraday analysis of Nifty. But after careful analysis on past data gave over very good accuracy of the AutoChannels Intraday range and I've been following it for some time now with great results. The Sell Below level act as SL for longs and Buy above level acts as SL for shorts.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Try to follow your guidance and to trade with low qty to overcome the hesitation/fear

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thanks for your continued improvement on Auto channels... And these new updates are really good

    ReplyDelete
  49. @cd2ba0831e2cbdd07f3576ce91e7b4ea:disqus Always welcome. Nice to know you liked them.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Profit and Loss is part of trading. But if one is disciplined, profits will come in eventually. :)

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thanks for giving that info. going good Sunil.
    Keep it up.

    ReplyDelete
  62. The entire concept of Auto Channels is based on volatility. :)

  70. Sunil,
What model do u use for calculating Implied Volatility?

    ReplyDelete
  71. After steep fall I went up. I would suggest u to wait till Monday dude.

    ReplyDelete
  72. @Shashi_Shetty:disqus Wait till monday.

    ReplyDelete
  73. OK, Thanks Sunilji..

    ReplyDelete
  74. Most welcome Shashi.

    ReplyDelete
  75. @google-33f9459876e83384e3f9cce0819f1bb6:disqus IV is not calculated for AutoChannels. And practically, I never needed to calculate it. I use a simple approach. If the ATM option is more than double the next OTM option, IV is normal else its high. :)

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thanks for all the support Sunilji..
    Have a nice weekend :)

    ReplyDelete
  77. @Shashi_Shetty:disqus Always Welcome and Have a great week end you too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. Thanks Sir , Have a nice day .

    ReplyDelete
  79. Most Welcome. Thanks and wish you a great week end ahead.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Okay, But strikes are not evenly distributed across all underlying. How do u take care of that?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Have checked my approach only on Nifty and not on other underlyings. But you may monitor the net value of ATM call and put. If it does not decrease with time or increases with time, you may consider the IV to be high.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Missed "SIEMENS" boat yesterday, It rallied 6% up today. :(
I made my mind to buy it after some homework, later one of my friends said avoid it it is a falling knife.
But Good part is "BUY was right thing to do", at least I got moral success :)

As you say Sunil, "Better to be safe than Sorry"! :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. hi SR,

    played in nifty shorts call

tata motors closed below 292, what may be the possible downside from here ??
    thanks

    ReplyDelete
  84. Okay, I understand.
    Thanks for the information Sunil.

I may ask lot of questions at times, please don't mind.
Kindly reply at your free time. :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. The good thing was your plan was good even though you did not implement it. :)

    ReplyDelete

  91. okk, my holding 280 PE @ 3.3, when do u suggest to cover it and what stop loss ?
    thanks

    ReplyDelete
  92. Good Afternoon Sir, Is it possible to change the colour or appearance of closed calls and active ones. like 5700pe sell and 5800pe buy is still active.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Good afternoon ramesh, Working on quite some features on this site in the coming future and am even working on a widget on the sidebar separately for all calls.
And, yes the Ratio spread on Nifty is still active. We will try to cover it near 5750. The closer it is to expiry, the better gains for us. :)

    ReplyDelete
  94. thats great. i work in an office, hence smaller window is better for me, to continue working and watching. instant notifier is slightly bigger. if you can accommodate it will be great.thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Thanks. Instant Notifier (Beta) is currently powered by Google which does not allow much customization. I've already developed my own Instant Notifier which is currently used for Post Updates. Once Trade widget is ready, I would switch totally to my own Instant Notifier.

  96. Sir,
    Good Evening,
Where to find past RBI Policy announcement data / date. Planning to do some homework ahead of RBI Policy..

Suggestion:Can we add the time instead of hours.

    ReplyDelete
  97. @477bd1e8e16eeb8cb761b5d324b7dae2:disqus Good Evening. You can find past RBI Policy announcements on http://www.rbi.org.in/Scripts/Annualpolicy.aspx

Thanks for your suggestion. I personally would like to have time instead of hours, but currently Disqus does not have that option. Hopefully, we may see an upgrade on Disqus in near future or a better alternative altogether.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Sir, Thanks for the info. Thanks once again for taking every individuals suggestion in the right spirit.
