  18. Hey Sunil, Good Morning. CRR cut is skeptical, Repo rate almost sure... Almost sure means i should have been factored in, if CRR cut is not given, then a selloff is expected. I am holding shorts in nifty, do you think i shall exit now and re-enter at policy announcement or should stay.

    ReplyDelete

  40. good morning, what to do in 5700 pe sell and 5800 pe buygiven about 8 days ago

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sundar, in very volatile markets levels won't stand strong, better let it settle down.

    ReplyDelete
  42. U are talking about 1 5700PE sell and 2 5800PE buy, right?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Buy 5800PE @ 20 and short 2 x 5700PE @ 10. Book profits next week near 5850. Risk 0 above 5750, Yes, Mahender, the stratedy was given a week ago by SR sir, he had told that it will be zero risk till 5750. now we are near the boundary. what to do now?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hello sir thanks,
booked profit 26 pts in bear spread

    ReplyDelete
  45. Enjoyed the slide... finally a strangle working for me... Was confused yesterday for the strangle strike price.. thanks Sunil..Booked profit... :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Did u calculate the RISK at 5600, do some work on it now?
Calculate PL for each leg and combine.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I was not able to take the bear spread but i had bought Strangle..which i booked in profit..Can anyone tell me how much profit you got in bear spread.??

    ReplyDelete
  48. :) not a problem

    As far as I understood.
Assuming NIFTY at 5600 at expiry,
    U make 200 points on 5800PE (1lot) = 200
    U make -100 point on 5700PE (2lots)=-200
So, PL is zero at this point on expiry.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sir,
Will Nifty test 5725 levels again.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hi SR!

    ReplyDelete
  57. @221bdcee3f5ca5bef271d66784918bb4:disqus Hold for now. We will exit after the momentum subsides. Do not panic. Break even is 5600 wich is unlikely this expiry as long as max OI stands at 5700PE.

    ReplyDelete

  61. @disqus_M56MjlrzQL:disqus Would advise to wait for now.

    ReplyDelete
  62. That's nice. It is good start.
Always beware of PL on RISK/REWARD ... use an excel sheet for simplicity.

    Wish you profitability trading.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Shashi_Shetty:disqus Looks weak below 237.5. Positionally can be shorted with a SL at 241 for target of 227

  65. Dear Mahy,

As SR said would wait till "DMK pulling out from the UPA Govt." Chaos settle.

sir,i think risk traders can short sell nifty even in cmp for 5700 target. what do you suggest?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Most Welcome. Not advisable to short Nifty at current levels. Risk/reward may not be favourable.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Sir, whether 5900 CE can be entered at this level?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ok thanks, will wait for your call

    ReplyDelete
  78. bhel is blast of the day among market movers fell 5.25%

    ReplyDelete
  79. Positional Bull Spread Trade: Buy 5900CE @ 12.5 and short 6000CE @ 4.5. Max Loss: 8 Target: 5820 (Expected Spread: 20)

    ReplyDelete

  82. I would have to pass. Can't write options as I don't have enough margin. All the best to all.

    ReplyDelete
  83. YES LETS SEE :) BYE

    ReplyDelete
  84. Sunil, I would have to pass your strangle. Can't write options as I don't have enough margin. Instead of shorting 6000CE, can we buy a put? just wondering. All the best to all.

    ReplyDelete
  85. @05b974d0e5f144c43d640c78331448fd:disqus This is a bull spread and not a strangle. We could buy a naked call but with expiry next week could be risky. Creating a spread reduces that risk.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Sir,

Thanks for all the guidance today. Made huge kill in Bharti PE & Nifty strangle.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Sunil Sir,
