Hi SR, Good Morning...
ReplyDeleteHi vibhor, Good Morning.
DeleteSR, Why don't you develop your comment section live like a chat.. chat comments refresh automatically in mini seconds(like facebook).. After that we don't need to refresh again and again to view the comments...
DeleteHi Vibhor, Planning to switch to facebook commenting system soon. :)
DeleteWow.. Great SR.. That will be the best.. are you developing your site with your own efforts or any developer is working on it?
DeleteHi Vibhor, all on my own. :)
DeleteGreat sir.. Which language your are using to develop this site?
DeleteCurrently on HTML/CSS, Java Script, JQuery and plan to add some ASP modules as well.
DeleteOk SR, From my point of view, You can use PHP.. It is cheap and the best way to develop a site. It has no license fees. And very easy to handle. And very much lighter. Facebook is also developed in PHP..
DeleteCool.
DeleteThat's good news for AutoChannels followers!
Thank you Sunil for all the efforts.
hi Vibhor, I'm not using php as I will be switching to full fledged ASP later on as I'm migrating my software to ASP. Then we can have live Auto Channels Charts online. But these will take time.
DeleteHi Mahy, Always Welcome.
OK SR..
Deletehi Sunilji,
ReplyDeleteGood Morning
Hi Shashi, Good Morning.
DeleteSUNIL SIR
ReplyDeleteGOOD MORNING
HOLDING SUNPHARMA @ 800
RANBAXY @ 416
AND BPCL @ 387
please advice me hold or exit on any rise?
Good Morning Pravin, Sunpharma may see a pullback. Exit others on any rise for now.
DeleteTHANKS SIR
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteGood Morning.
Good Morning Sundaresh.
DeleteHi SR, yesterday reliance capital closed below its 200 DMA.. What is your view on it now.. Can it go more more from here after a bounce?
ReplyDeleteHi Vibhor, Overall looks weak, If it breaks below 390-91, can head lower to 381-82.
Deleteok SR.. Thanks..
DeleteWhat is your view on nifty today.. Can we see any bounce back?
DeleteHi Vibhor, Nifty may remain flat today.
Deleteok Sir..
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteNifty levels to watch today & also Relinfra, Capital & Dlf for today.
Nifty Res: 5794, 5839, Supp: 5755, 5700
DeleteRel Infra, Cap and Dlf may see a pullback today. Res: 469, 400. Dlf above 274 may head to 280-81.
Hi SR, Good morning
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Krishna. :)
DeleteHi sunil good morning, Where do you see expiry, please take budget into account.
ReplyDeleteHolding huge 8 lakh short since 5930, i expect 5600 or even below to book profits.
ReplyDeleteHi Yogi, Good Morning, With an event coming up, Lighten up your positions. Whatever be the budget outcome, Nifty may likely not break below 5702 easily. If you see history, markets have always shown a pre-budget or post-budget rally. Seeing this carnage in the Feb Series, we can expect a post budget rally.
DeleteYes i agree with you, but S&P break below 1500 and also some crack in global mkts, Already so many reforms are already priced in, My view even if FM give good budget, 5900 is diff to break.
DeleteHi Yogi, Nifty may likely trade within the range of 5702-5885 for some time.
DeleteSir I am holding 1 lot of 5900 March call bought @ 61 . Shall I hold or exit now .
ReplyDeleteHold it for now with SL below 5756.
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the levels.
Hi sunil ...which stock is a better buy ..reliance capital or tatasteel ?
ReplyDeleteHi pradip, Wait for some more time to enter either of them.
DeleteGood Morning Sunil/Everyone.

Hi Ram, Hold for now. Exit 50% if Nifty breaks 5755 on hourly closing.
DeletePressure starts!
ReplyDeleteGOOD MORNING SIR,
ReplyDeleteany call now in nifty?
Hi ramesh, No new call as yet.
DeleteHi SR, reliance capital is below 390.. Can we go short now?
ReplyDeleteHi Vibhor, Wait for some more time.
Deleteok SR..
DeleteSorry all, Had a power failure, Just came back online...
ReplyDeleteGOOD MORNING SUNILJI
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sai.
Deletehi sunil, was thinking to buying jp associate call ...do u think there may be a short covering rally . ur views please ..?
ReplyDeleteHi Pradip, Enter only if it break and sustains above 71.
DeleteHi sunil, had a few losses ...want to recover ...n a big event is on the cards ...was thinking how to utilize the event ...any suggestion?
ReplyDeleteHi pradip, Avoid scheduled events. Markets can be very volatile
DeleteHi SR - Why kotak bank is not going down?
ReplyDeleteHi Nh, Markets showing recovery. If Nifty sustains above 5794 levels, may head to 5834-39 levels.
DeleteSUNIL SIR
ReplyDeleteI TRAPPED IN A CALL FOR ONGC AND I SHORT ONGC AT 310

PLEASE TELL ME SL
Hi Pravin, Hold short with a SL of day high. Hold call for targets of 318.5, 321
DeleteSorry all, Having Power issues. May remain online on and off today...
ReplyDeleteHi sunil sirji, hope all is well on your side.
ReplyDeleteresistance of 5794 broke and further upside left up to 5830?
many thanks
Hi sbrj, Yes, all is well here. Just some power issues. Nifty has to break 5794 at least on hourly closing for upsides to 5834-39.
Deletehi yogi sm, you are the same yogi who visits nseguide or different person?
ReplyDeleteHi sbrj,
DeleteThis is A K sunil kumar , owner of optionwinners.com

Yes, some interruption/technical issues I guess!
DeleteYou can use google finance also.
DeleteHi Yousuf, Not sure about it. Never follow it.
DeleteReady Set GO!
ReplyDeleteNifty Short strangle at 22 :)
ReplyDeleteNow at 21
DeleteHope you are counting your profits. :)
Deletehahaha ... :) good one
Deleteyes,sunilji.currently near 20.
DeleteBut, worried a little about SL hit during Budget tomorrow
Hi Ram, I'm not bothered about tomorrow. Technically, I'm not expecting Nifty to go beyond the range of 5702 - 5885. And as such should be a perfect strangle.
Deletenow near 18.
Delete50% profit (notional) in a day.
Great call !!!!!
Thanks Ram :)
DeleteHi SR, what is your view on bank of baroda..?
ReplyDeleteOverall looks weak below 736, but is in corrective phase and may correct upto 744.
DeleteHi SR, If it breaks 750, then can we take the long position in it?
DeleteEven above 744, it will first go into a consolidation range of 736 - 761. Best to go long after it breaks above 761 for positional trading
Deleteok SR.. Thanks
DeleteMost Welcome.
DeleteGOOD AFTERNOON SIR,
ReplyDeleteANY NEW POSITIONS FOR OVERNIGHT?
Hi ramesh, Nothing new for now with budget tomorrow. If holding Nifty Short strangle, can continue to hold till tomorrow.
DeleteNO DID NOT ENTER THE STRANGLE. THANKS
DeleteOPT-NIFTY-28-Feb-2013-5800-CE . NOW 43 WIL IT ERODE TOMORROW. SHOULD I BOOK PROFIT IT TODAY OR WAIT FOR TOMORROW
ReplyDeleteMarkets can go either way from Here.
DeleteAnd Importantly, Options Premiums are hight as of now because of Budget.
And time left for FEB series only a day.
I would suggest you to close your position.
FYI : Never trade options this close to expiry.
Thanks
Mahy
Hi ramesh, Don't hold any Feb Option longs for tomorrow. Book profits today.
Deletehey sunilji.. i will be busy from next month onwards, wont be roaming here/ ng, going back to college :DDDD. will catch u through mails / fb :) . . i will come back with bulls, lets wait :))
ReplyDeleteHi Sreejith,
DeleteNice decision.All the best !!
Hi Doc!, Wish you all the best. Stay in touch. :)
Deletethanks sunil ji. sure, will be in touch .. take care.
DeleteTake care you too. :)
DeleteHi Ram,
ReplyDeletenice :DDD
thanks for clarifying my doubt tats y i asked him but no reply from yogi sm(owner of optionwinners.blogspot).
Most welcome.
DeleteI found this out last week itself.
Guruji, tomorow market will rise or should i use this chance to buy puts?
ReplyDeleteHi sbrj, Technically a close above 5794 looks positive and may show some upmove from here. However, with budget tomorrow, avoid directional trades till tomorrow.
DeleteHave a nice evening to all of you!
ReplyDeleteHi Mahy, Thanks and wish you the same.
DeleteHi Sunilji,
ReplyDeletePerfect closing for our Strangle.
Nifty very near to 5800.
Hi Ram, Yes, Just could not have been better. :)
DeleteHi Sunil Rao,
ReplyDeleteHave a nice evening with your dear family and friends [You well deserve!]
Saw KB's messages ..BTW, It is sad , a few guys or [girl] have no conscience or sense of justice to gang up against a good person.Wonder if they are feeling sorry now .! Whatever was their pleasure/agenda ..
Take care ! God will always take good care of good folks like you .All the very best!
Gitanjali.
Hi Gitanjali, Thanks and wish you the same.
DeleteYour words to KB reminds me of a line from Julius Caesar:

guruji,
ReplyDeletemany thanks for guidance
see you tomorrow
bye
Most Welcome.
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteQuery:
Ref. feb'13 4400 CE: 29th Jan.13 @ INR.1715 - why there are buyers and sellers at that level.
Hi Sundaresh, There are few long term investors who invest in index. Instead of buying futures and paying extra premium to roll it over month after month, they prefer to trade in deep ITM options as they have many benefits.
Delete1. They have no premium.
2. The value is full intrinsic value and can be redeemed anytime or at expiry.
3. Options require lesser margins.
4. Options have lesser risk
5. No extra premium need to be paid to rollover from one series to the next.
Nice explanation Sunil. Thanks.
DeleteSundaresh,
Liquidity for DEEP ITM will be less (you can check the option volume), because of that Spread between ASK and BID will also be wide.
Hi Mahy, Most Welcome. Yes, Liquidity of these options are very low. But is good for long term investors who do not liquidate their holding on a day to day basis and the difference between bid / ask does not matter to them.
DeleteYes That's right Sunil. :)
DeleteHere most of the autochannels followers are not long term investors, Just I want to inform them that they are less liquid options, worth mentioning.
Sunil Rao ,
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot ! Shows the wide gap between good/wise and others Just like Bulls and Bears !
God bless you!
Gitanjali.
Sir,
ReplyDeleteOh god - amazing strategy.
Thanks for the info.
Sundar.
Thanks Mahy,
ReplyDeleteFor the explanation.
Sundar.
Most welcome Sundar.
DeleteSir / Mahy,
ReplyDeleteCurious to understand:
If i manage to sell a option at higher level and leave it till expiry - am i not benifited.
Eg.: i am selling at 1500 at the begining of the contract and it expires at 200 rupees - am i not benifited.
Yes, Of course your in profits.
DeleteUsually Selling is done with OTM Options, you expect them to expire worthless.
Example : If we shorted 6100CE FEB-2013 on 1st FEB @ 53.60, and now it is trading at 0.5/-, It means you made a profit of 53.1 on it. (commissions are not included for simplicity sake.)
Hope this helps.
Hi Sundar, Mahy pointed out right. We do gain by shorting OTM options. But risk is high as an unfavourable position may lead to unlimited losses. As such, margins requirements are also higher. Strong hands always go with shorting options.
Deletesirji
ReplyDeleteone doubt is if we are clear of trend then why cant we go with otm options to make profit in n number of times with least risk.
and in case of big swings like 5% +- in index those itm options depreciates 500% and even 1000%
which is best strategy?
many thanks
Hi sbrj, Yes, If one can identify clear trend in advance, OTM options are the best way to multiply capital.
DeleteRead our earlier OTM strategy on Nifty:
September Strategies on Nifty - Technical View and Trading Strategies
Sir can we buy March Reliance 860 call or March HDIL 85 call or jpassociate 80 call . Please advice.
ReplyDeleteHi Sonu, Wait for the budget announcements to be made tomorrow. We will make fresh directional trades only after tomorrow.
DeleteSir / Mahy,
ReplyDeleteBrain storming session:
As SBRJ said,
Shall we workout ( sorry - cant you suggest)some risky bet like taking some 52 week low bets and buying a long option and hold it till it reaches the high or leave it worthless till expiry.
Eg.: Relinfra (approx) is in 455 levels and it would surely reach 540 levels if the market improves. If not we loose a bit.
Hi Sundar, OTM option trading is a great way to multiply capital with least risk. But you must remember few things for OTM option trading.
Delete1. You need to hold options for a long time.
2. Longer the time higher the decay.
3. You must know when to exit.
4. You must know how to scale out profits.
5. You must when to book profits.
6. Stocks may give you a second chance to book profits, but options may not
7. Time is your best friend as well as your biggest enemy.
8. You need to exit trade before time turns your biggest enemy.
9. Picking such stocks is not easy.
10. If regularly using this strategy, follow a mix of longs and shorts.
Refer to the previous link replied to sbrj
sirji,
ReplyDeletemany thanks for detailed explanation to previous questions which happens only in autochannels..
great forum to discuss about strategies and to gain maximum knowledge.
glad to participate with you good guys.
see you tomorrow

Hi Sundaresh Lakshmikanthan,
your very good questions not only helps you but also helps me to know about certain important rules in options trading.
thanks
Most Welcome.
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteI lost huge money in option - due to non-adherance of the above said laws.
This month i lost a bit - but gained huge experience. I am sure that i will not loose any henceforth.
